Sean, an actor and producer joined VTP as managing director, three years ago. "Treading the boards since I was 10 years old, I never feel more at home than I do when I'm in a theatre." Currently producing the winner of VTP's 2004 The Pen is a Mighty Sword new play contest, Gray Area by John Ahlin, Sean can be seen in the new Brad Pitt movie, Mr and Mrs Smith, due for release in the fall of 2005.
Sean recently finished a stint as understudy for Marie Jones' multiple award winning play, STONES IN HIS POCKETS at the Mark Taper Forum on May 29th. Sean understudied JD Cullom in this hillarious two man comedy directed by Neel Keeler. The story follows the production of a big Hollywood movie in rural Ireland and how it effects everyone involved. The play has the extras becoming stars and the stars becoming extras. Sean plays a variety of different characters ranging from a 70 year old man to 22 year old girl. During the run Sean did have an opportunity to go on, something that made the weeks and weeks of work most worthwhile.
In addition, Sean is one of The Virtual Theatre Players recording the audio theatre series entitled Wisdom for Children.
