"AESOP Goes Modern" written by Kim Terrell and directed by Daniele Suissa was released in December, 2004. The recording takes various Fables attributed to Aesop and turns them into mini-plays complete with sound effects and original music by Marc Solomon. It is a feast for the ears and imagination of children ages 3 to 4 & up.
Each story has a "moral", a truth hidden in the fabric of the fable to be discovered by our young listeners.
Now that "AESOP Goes Modern" is released The Virtual Players will reassemble in the GECKOSONIC recording studio early in 2005 to record the second in the series, "Wilde Tales". This recording brings to life Oscar Wilde's wonderful stories, written originally for his own children. Adapted into script form by Kim Terrell, plays include The Young King, The Birthday of the Infanta, The Fisherman and His Soul, and The Remarkable Rocket.
"Wilde Tales" is scheduled for release in 2005.
